Inaugurated in 1968, the Old Course at Atalaya Golf is one of the best golf courses on the Costa del Sol. The wide, undulating fairways wind through extensive trees and shrubs that provide shade and color year-round. The elevated greens make club selection particularly interesting, and the slopes require great precision to sink all the important putts.
The Old Course is ideal for walking and also offers magnificent views of La Concha and the Mediterranean Sea. The lakes and streams host a variety of wildlife, including waterfowl, and we have two pairs of swans.
A good café welcomes you before you start your round at the first tee, where you can enjoy a coffee and practice in the short game area right next to it. The golf academy, located by hole 13, offers a variety of facilities for training.
